As a dietitian, my goal is to support you in making sustainable lifestyle changes to support your health and wellbeing, fuel exercise performance, optimise recovery, and nourish your relationship with food. I believe in working with the individual to find the right approach for you – whether this is a fully individualised meal plan, or working on single nutrition strategies one at a time (or somewhere in between!). I’m extremely passionate about providing you with the tools to optimise your health and achieve your goals through nutrition.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a keen runner and triathlete. I’ve completed several sprint, Olympic distance, and Ironman 70.3 triathlons, and after many half marathons I recently completed my first marathon. This has given me first-hand experience into the challenges that can come with fuelling for endurance sports, as well as the juggling act between training, work, and everything else life throws at us.

On top of regular nutrition services, as a Sports Dietitian I also provide tailored nutrition plans for training, race day nutrition plans, supplement support and advice, and strategies to manage fuelling an active lifestyle.

Hi, I’m Nicola! I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian, and endurance sports enthusiast based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. As a dietitian, I’m passionate about all things nutrition – in particular, helping athletes like you (elite and amateur!) fuel your body to optimise your training, nourish your mind, and support your health and wellbeing.

Growing up as a ballet dancer, I didn’t always have the best relationship with food. Many of my adolescent years involved restricting my intake in an effort to become as lean as possible, rather than fuelling for performance. This resulted in low energy levels and fatigue– not to mention binges and feeling a lack of control around food. An interest in health led me to study Exercise and Nutrition Science at University, where I became fascinated with the effect nutrition has on our health, wellbeing, and exercise performance. Slowly but surely, my mindset switched from thinking of food as a way to manipulate body composition, to thinking of food as the necessary fuel to optimise performance and nourish our bodies.
